Universal fiber optic cross-connect for distribution points

The ALANTEC fiber optic cross-connect, in a 19" housing with a height of 1U, is a solid solution for building main and intermediate fiber optic distribution points. Designed for mounting in cabinets and racks, it offers configuration flexibility with the ability to install 12 SC simplex ports or 12 LC duplex ports. Its construction, based on a pull-out drawer, significantly facilitates both connector installation and subsequent servicing.

Construction and functionality

The panel is made of powder-coated steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. A replaceable front panel with clear port numbering allows for easy adaptation to different types of adapters – SC simplex, LC duplex, ST, FC, LC and E2000. Available colors RAL 7035 (grey) and 9005 (black) allow for matching the aesthetics of the installation. Five openings in the rear of the housing and adjustable mounting ears facilitate stable mounting of the cross-connect in the cabinet. Additionally, special holders allow mounting up to four fiber optic cassettes – the screws holding the cassettes can be easily removed.

Complete set and easy installation

The set includes all necessary mounting elements, cable glands and cable ties, eliminating the need for additional purchases. Please note that the splice cassette is not included and must be purchased separately.
