The U/UTP cat. 6 cable, 10 meters long, is made of multi-strand cores insulated with polyethylene, twisted in pairs with a separator. The lack of shielding (U/UTP) makes it a good choice where there are no strong electromagnetic interference – however, it is important to maintain an appropriate distance from potential sources of interference. The PVC coating provides durability and flexibility of the cable, although its properties in the event of a fire should be remembered (emits smoke and contains halogens).
