The product is supplied in 12.5 kg buckets and is ready to use – simply apply to the mineral wool filling the compartment or insulating the installation. This paint, in combination with the ALFA FR BOARD A board, provides a comprehensive solution for securing metal pipe passages in walls and ceilings, as well as uninsulated metal pipes and cable passages (together with the ALFA FR COAT I intumescent paint).

Thanks to its specific formula, ALFA FR COAT A ablates under high temperature – it absorbs heat and creates a protective layer, delaying the spread of fire. It provides fire resistance up to EI 240 minutes, which is crucial for the safety of the building and its users. The product is certified according to European standards (ETA-19/0503 for installations and ETA-19/0502 for expansion joints) and has a declaration of properties AGSO – 2/2019 and a certificate of conformity 1488-CPR-0766/W (installations) and 1488-CPR-0767/W (expansion joints). Importantly, the use of ALFA FR COAT A can contribute to obtaining BREEAM certification.
