Synthetic resin mixture solution – anti-corrosion primer for comprehensive protection

Primer 1027 is a specialized synthetic resin mixture solution designed for use as the first layer in anti-corrosion systems. Its formula, enriched with stress corrosion cracking (SCC) inhibitors, provides not only excellent coating adhesion to the substrate but also increases resistance to cathodic disbondment – crucial for protecting pipelines and structures exposed to external factors. The product is particularly recommended for surfaces with increased roughness and during repair and rehabilitation of pipelines.

Application and properties

Primer 1027 finds wide application in anti-corrosion protection, especially in combination with materials from the POLYKEN series. Its unique chemical composition guarantees effective protection against corrosion, and the contained SCC inhibitors minimize the risk of damage caused by stress. Importantly, the primer can be applied even at negative temperatures, which increases the flexibility of its use on construction sites or during service work. Additionally, it is characterized by very good penetration, which ensures optimal substrate preparation for subsequent coating layers.

Safety and storage

Special care should be taken when working with Primer 1027. The solution may cause skin irritation, so it is recommended to use gloves made of butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber. If it comes into contact with skin, wash it thoroughly with warm water and soap, using a brush. The product is flammable and should be stored in sealed factory packaging, in well-ventilated warehouses, away from sources of fire and heat. Remember to observe safety regulations during the transport and storage of flammable substances.
