Coupled Water Meter with IP68 Counter and Flanged DN100 Connection

Water meter designed for measuring cold water in installations with highly variable flow rates – from low intensities up to a maximum of 100 m³/h. Engineered for facilities requiring reliability while monitoring both low and high loads: hospitals, hotels, schools, multi-unit residential buildings, and industrial sites with hydrants.

Body made of cast iron, resistant to pressures up to 16 bar (PN16), suitable for horizontal or vertical mounting. The main water meter counter has an IP68 protection rating – fully hermetic, resistant to moisture and dust, ensuring long-term operation even in humid or contaminated environments. Flanged connection compliant with PN-EN 1092-2 (PN10), enabling easy installation and replacement.

Automatic Switching and Low Starting Threshold

The water meter operates as a coupled system: the main turbine measuring element works in parallel with a side vane-type element. When flow is low (e.g., at night or with a single tap open), measurement occurs via the side circuit, resulting in a very low starting threshold – ensuring no small consumptions are missed. As flow intensity increases (e.g., during hydrant activation or simultaneous use of multiple outlets), the system automatically transfers the flow to the main element – without interruptions or loss of accuracy.

A ratio R = 360 indicates that the measurement range extends from 0.28 m³/h to 100 m³/h – ideal for installations with irregular usage. Mounting is possible only in the horizontal position with the counter facing upward (H). The installation length is 360 mm, and the operating temperature must not exceed 50°C.

Ready for AMR Systems

The water meter is prepared for remote communication – allowing the installation of a radio module (e.g., Wireless M-Bus) or an NK contact transmitter. It does not include a built-in transmitter, but the IP68-rated counter design and its modern construction (from 2020) enable easy retrofitting without the need to replace the entire device.

Anti-magnetic construction protects against tampering attempts – maintaining measurement accuracy even in strong magnetic fields. The turbine-based measurement method guarantees stability during long-term operation.
