Pulse module AT-MBUS-NE-02, IP65, for residential water meters of type JS and JS90 SMART series DN15-20 Q3=1.6-4 m³/h 0945-300-023

The AT-MBUS-NE-02 pulse module is a microprocessor overlay that converts readings from JS and JS90 series Smart water meters into an electrical signal – without the need to replace the meter. It mounts directly onto the counting mechanism, tool-free, in the location previously occupied by the register cover.

It operates by optically scanning the movement of a special reflective pointer – it does not use reed switches, so it is unaffected by magnetic fields. This means its operation cannot be "halted" with a magnet, nor is it disturbed by nearby electrical currents.

Designed for operation in humid and outdoor conditions, it features an IP65 protection rating, allowing installation even in stairwells, basements, or outside buildings where dust and water splashes may occur. It contains no battery – it is powered by the remote reading system (e.g., via the MBus bus), eliminating the need for power source replacement.

Intended exclusively for Smart series water meters with a flow range of Q3=1.6–4.0 m³/h and nominal diameters DN15–DN20. It does not work with other models – it is not universal. Configuration of pulses per cubic meter (e.g., 1 imp/l, 10 imp/l) and output type (e.g., open collector / push-pull) is determined at the time of order and cannot be changed afterward.

This solution is ideal for property managers and water utility companies: it enables data collection from hundreds of meters without dispatching personnel to the site. It reduces operational costs and allows real-time detection of leaks or abnormal consumption – without additional sensors or transducers.

No calibration is required after installation. It has no display or buttons – it functions purely as a signal converter. It is part of the Apator Powogaz system and is not compatible with other manufacturers.
