Wing Meter for Hot Water, with Brass Housing and Anti-Magnetic Protection
The JS-130 MASTER+ water meter is designed for continuous operation in hot and warm water systems, where temperatures can reach up to 130°C. Its construction enables safe and accurate flow measurement in closed-loop systems at a maximum working pressure of 16 bar (PN16). The brass housing ensures corrosion resistance and long-term stability under aggressive conditions, while the additional anti-magnetic protection safeguards against tampering via external magnetic fields — a critical feature for commercial and public installations.
Installation is possible both horizontally and vertically, with the dial oriented upward or sideways — this flexibility simplifies integration into existing networks without requiring pipe modifications. The unit length is 300 mm, and the connection is a male gas thread G 2" (BSPP), standard for large-diameter district heating systems.
The measurement mechanism, based on a winged rotor, operates reliably even at low flow rates. The R=80 ratio indicates that the measurement range extends from very small values (Q1) to a maximum flow rate of 16 m³/h (Q3), making it suitable for both small premises and medium-sized municipal systems. Water does not need to be clean — the inlet channel design stabilizes the flow, minimizing the impact of contaminants on accuracy.
The counter is a five-drum mechanical type with an IP65 protection rating, ensuring resistance to dust and water jets — ideal for installations in high-humidity or high-risk mechanical damage environments. An IP68 version (glass housing) is available as an option — but only for cold water.
The meter is dry-running, eliminating the risk of moisture damage and ensuring long-term reading stability. It is also AMR-ready — enabling remote data reading — and can be easily equipped with an impulse transmitter (JS-NK) if required by energy or heating management systems.
In practice: installers need not worry about reverse flow or magnetic interference — the meter blocks both automatically. End users receive an accurate, durable, and reliable measurement — without the need for frequent calibration or replacement.
