Wing Meter with Remote Reading Capability, Designed for Cold and Hot Water

The JS-02 SMART+ wing meter is a positive displacement measuring device with a brass housing, intended for installation in water supply systems with water temperatures up to 50°C or hot water up to 90°C. It is suitable for use in both cold water systems and hot water circuits—e.g., in closed-loop heating systems where high measurement accuracy is required under full flow conditions.

The connection is a cylindrical internal thread BSPT-Rp (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1), meaning the device is installed onto a pipe with an external thread using an appropriate adapter or valve. It is not an external thread—it cannot be directly screwed onto a pipe without a compatible connecting element. The installation length of 110 mm allows mounting even in confined technical spaces.

The meter is resistant to strong magnetic fields; its design protects against interference from external electromagnetic sources, which is critical in modern buildings with high concentrations of electronic devices. The counting mechanism is hermetically sealed and resistant to fogging, with a rotating dial ensuring clear readability regardless of orientation: horizontal (H↑ or H→) or vertical (V).

The counting mechanism features a lock that prevents rotation exceeding 360°, eliminating the possibility of fraudulent manipulation through mechanical interference. Additionally, the design includes freeze protection to prevent damage from water freezing—an essential feature for installations exposed to low temperatures.

The device has an IP65 protection rating: the dial is protected against dust and water jets, making it suitable for installation in humid environments. It is pre-equipped for communication modules: Wireless M-Bus, M-Bus, and pulse output, enabling remote reading without requiring device replacement. For the Ti/Ir version, an inductive reading option is available—ideal where the dial is difficult to access.

The R100 ratio and maximum flow rate Q3 = 2.5 m³/h ensure precise measurement across both low and high load conditions. The operating pressure rating of PN16 (up to 16 bar) guarantees safety in networks with pressure fluctuations. The meter complies with MID metrological requirements, confirming its conformity with EU measurement standards.
