Purpose and Operating Conditions
The water meter is designed for measuring the volume of hot water up to 90°C and cold water up to 50°C in closed systems with full flow. Installation is permitted both horizontally (dial positioned on top or side) and vertically (dial on the side). Maximum operating pressure is 16 bar (PN16), meeting standard requirements for district heating and water supply systems.
Construction and Durability
The housing is made of brass, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance in humid conditions. The measuring mechanism features a turbine wheel with a double-bearing rotor—minimizing friction and extending service life. The meter is anti-magnetic, effectively protecting against unauthorized interference from strong magnetic fields that may disrupt other meter types. The dial is hermetically sealed, resistant to fogging, and features an eight-digit scale protected against mechanical tampering—e.g., with a rotation lock that activates after more than 360° of rotation.
Communication and Installation
The advanced design allows for the installation of communication modules—Wireless M-Bus, M-Bus, and pulse output—without replacing the meter itself. Additionally, the Ti/Ir version enables reading via an inductive overlay, facilitating data access in hard-to-reach locations.
