This flexible synthetic rubber insulation wrap, known as Armaflex HT, is a proven choice for both professionals and end-users. The product is designed for thermal insulation of pipelines, ventilation ducts, and equipment in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and refrigeration installations. Its main advantage is effective protection against heat loss or uncontrolled cooling, which translates into energy savings and user comfort.

Properties and application

Armaflex HT insulation wrap is characterized by exceptional resistance to UV radiation, making it ideal for outdoor installations. It remains flexible even at temperatures up to 150°C, making it perfect for use in industry and facilities with high thermal requirements. The material is dust and fiber-free, ensuring safety and comfort during installation and use. A thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.042 W/(m.K) guarantees effective thermal insulation. Fire reaction class D (s3, d0) provides a basic level of fire safety.

Construction and installation

Armaflex HT insulation wrap is available in a thickness of 13 mm. Installation is quick and easy – the wrap is easy to cut and adapt to the shape of the insulated surface. Thanks to its flexibility, it minimizes the risk of thermal bridges. It is important to use appropriate Armaflex Ultima system adhesives (700 or SF990) to ensure optimal sealing and durability of the connection, especially in installations exposed to high temperatures or humidity. Implementation is only possible in full cartons.
