AustroPEX WPE pre-insulated pipe is an advanced solution for central heating installations, particularly dedicated to cooperation with monoblock heat pumps. The construction based on two corrugated stainless steel pipes (1.4404 / AISI 316L) ensures reliability and corrosion resistance, which is crucial in systems with high requirements. Additional empty conduits facilitate the routing of control and power cables for the heat pump, minimizing the need for additional installation work.

The pipe is characterized by high flexibility and self-compensation, which makes installation easier even in difficult conditions. Thermal insulation made of closed-cell microcellular PE foam minimizes heat loss – water absorption is less than 1% (according to DIN 53428), which guarantees long-term energy efficiency of the system. The corrugated outer jacket made of HDPE protects the insulation from mechanical damage and ensures easy laying of the pipe.

Construction and application

The AustroPEX WPE pipe is designed for comprehensive heating installations. Two stainless steel pipes are used to transport the heating medium in the supply and return circuits. Empty conduits provide convenient channels for routing electrical cables necessary for the operation of the heat pump – this saves time and materials during installation.
