It is surrounded by a flexible insulation made of crosslinked XPE with a closed-cell microcellular structure – this is what minimizes heat loss and limits moisture condensation. The insulation is characterized by very low water absorption (below 1% according to DIN 53428), which translates into stable insulation parameters throughout the service life. The whole is protected by a corrugated outer layer made of HDPE, which not only protects the insulation from damage but also facilitates pipe laying and ensures its flexibility. The corrugated surface allows for easy routing of the installation even in difficult conditions.
