AustroPEX HT single pre-insulated pipe is a flexible and self-compensating system, designed for central heating installations. Made of cross-linked polyethylene PE-Xa, with a red anti-diffusion EVOH layer, it ensures reliability and long-term protection against corrosion. The XPE foam thermal insulation with a closed-cell microstructure minimizes heat loss – water absorption is below 1% according to DIN 53428. The whole is protected by a corrugated outer layer made of durable HDPE, resistant to mechanical damage.

Construction and properties

The pipe combines three key elements, providing optimal operating parameters: a conductive layer of PE-Xa with an EVOH barrier, XPE foam insulation and a protective HDPE cover. This construction translates into minimal heat loss during the transport of the heating medium, which directly affects the reduction of operating costs.
