Polyethylene insulation Tubolit DG Plus – protection and efficiency

Tubolit DG Plus is a flexible insulation material made of closed-cell polyethylene foam, designed for a wide range of applications in heating, sanitary and water supply installations. This product combines excellent thermal insulation properties with a high level of safety, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users. This reduces energy losses, protects pipes from damage and reduces noise.

Product features and application

Tubolit DG Plus insulation is characterized by a low thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.038 W/(m·K) at 40°C, which translates into effective reduction of heat losses – up to 90%. The material is resistant to commonly used building materials such as cement, lime and gypsum, and also prevents condensation on cold water pipes. It can be used in central heating, hot and cold domestic water installations and sewage systems. It is available in the form of sleeves and self-adhesive tapes, which facilitates installation and ensures the tightness of the insulation.

The insulation thickness is 20 mm. The material is made of polyethylene foam (PEF). The operating temperature is within the range of temperatures found in typical plumbing and heating installations, and the maximum medium temperature is 100°C (85°C for tapes).
