Effective acoustic and thermal insulation of drainage pipes

Tubolit AR Fonoblock is a flexible polyethylene wrap designed for the insulation of drainage pipes. This product significantly reduces the transmission of noise from drainage and sewage systems to the building structure – the noise reduction can be as high as from 34 dB(A) to 19 dB(A). This is an ideal solution for both new installations and the modernization of existing ones, where noise reduction is key to the comfort of residents.

Application and properties

The Tubolit AR Fonoblock wrap not only dampens sounds but also reduces energy losses. A low thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.045 W/(m·K) allows for a reduction of heat losses of up to 90%, which translates into improved energy efficiency of the building and reduced CO2 emissions. The material is easy to install and flexible, making it easy to adapt to pipes of various diameters. Additionally, it protects the pipes from the influence of aggressive chemical substances contained in building materials and prevents condensation on the surface of cold water pipes.

Safety and compliance with standards

Tubolit AR Fonoblock has a fire reaction class E according to EN 13501-1, which ensures additional safety of use. The entire TUBOLIT product range has a CE mark, confirming compliance with European regulations and standards. A wide range of available insulation thicknesses allows you to meet the requirements specified in Polish building law. The product is supplied in rolls 75m long, which facilitates transport and installation on larger objects. The lack of a self-adhesive layer or closure makes installation simple and quick – just fit the wrap to the pipe and secure it with appropriate tape or a clamp (available separately).
