Construction and properties

The pipe is made of copper with a wall thickness of 0.8 mm, which guarantees strength and corrosion resistance. Annealing of the material increases its plasticity, making it easier to shape and connect. The pipe is pre-insulated with closed-cell polyethylene foam, covered with a white protective film, which minimizes energy losses associated with heat exchange and prevents condensation on the pipe surface. The white insulation coating is UV resistant and protects against mechanical damage, ensuring an aesthetic appearance of the installation. The thermal conductivity of the insulation is only 0.036 W/(m.K), which confirms its high thermal efficiency.

Application and compliance with standards

Tubolit split pipe is used in split air conditioning installations, connecting the indoor and outdoor units. It is compatible with a wide range of refrigerants, including the latest generations – R1233zd(E), R1234yf and popular R410A or R32. The product meets the requirements of EN 12735-1 standard and has a fire reaction class Bs1d0, which ensures a high level of fire safety. The maximum working pressure of the pipe is 74 bar. The patented adhesive layer system facilitates connecting and disconnecting pipes without the need for additional fastening elements.
