The Atlantic Duo 150L domestic hot water tank is a versatile solution for both installers and end-users. This model combines efficiency, reliability and ease of installation, offering comfortable hot water throughout the year. Equipped with a built-in jacket heat exchanger with a large heat exchange surface area, the tank allows for water heating using various heat sources, including central heating boilers. An additional copper immersion heater allows for independent electric water heating, which is particularly useful outside the heating season.

Design and functionality

The Duo 150L tank is distinguished by its versatility – it can be mounted both vertically and horizontally, adapting to individual needs and space constraints. The annular jacket heat exchanger ensures efficient heat transfer from the boiler to the water, and its location inside the tank utilizes the thermosiphon effect, allowing it to work with boilers in a gravity system – eliminating the need for a circulation pump. This solution is particularly appreciated when modernizing older installations. In addition, the tank has a 3-function temperature thermostat with a regulation range of 15-65°C and a factory setting of 65°C, which ensures precise control over the water temperature.

Safety and durability

The Atlantic Duo 150L has been designed for long-term and trouble-free operation. The inner surface of the tank is covered with high-quality ceramic enamel enriched with titanium and copper (TiO+CuO), which provides excellent protection against corrosion. Additionally, the O’PRO anti-corrosion system and a magnesium anode further protect the tank against corrosive agents. The frost protection system (FROST FREE mode) maintains the water temperature at a minimum of 7°C, protecting the installation from damage during low temperatures. The standard equipment also includes a safety valve and an automatic thermal fuse, guaranteeing safe use of the device. A profiled cold water inlet diffuser minimizes the mixing of cold water with heated water inside the tank, increasing the energy efficiency of the device.
