AURATON Cetus offers a number of functions that allow you to optimize energy consumption and adjust the temperature to individual needs:

• Economic mode: Possibility to lower the temperature by 1-5°C for 1 to 12 hours each day at the same time. This is an ideal solution for people working outside the home or leaving for longer, allowing you to reduce heating costs without losing comfort.
• Vacation mode: Setting an independent temperature for a period of up to 8 days. Protects the house from cooling down during the absence of residents, while minimizing energy consumption.
• FrostGuard function: Protects the room from freezing by automatically turning on the heating when the temperature drops below the set threshold (2°C).
• PWM operating mode: Uses pulse width modulation (PWM) to cyclically switch the heating device on and off. This allows the controller to anticipate temperature changes in the room, keeping it at a constant level and minimizing fluctuations. This translates into greater thermal comfort and lower energy consumption.
• LCD display: A clear LCD display ensures easy reading of settings even in dimly lit rooms.

The AURATON Cetus controller is easy to install and configure. The wired connection ensures stable operation and signal reliability. The device is compatible with most heating systems, such as electric heaters, convection heaters or underfloor heating systems (depending on the relay capacity). Power is supplied by two AAA batteries (1.5V), eliminating the need to run additional power cables.

The Cetus controller has a power supply of 2 x AAA (1.5 V), alkaline, operates in a temperature range from 0 to 45°C and controls the temperature in the range from 5 to 30°C with a hysteresis of ±0.2°C / ±0.4°C / PWM. The relay capacity is a maximum of 250 V AC and 16 A, and the duty cycle is daily. The degree of protection is IP 20.
