The AURATON Taurus control strip is an advanced solution for precise management of your underfloor heating system. Designed for mounting on a DIN rail in the installation cabinet, it allows control of up to 8 independent heating zones, which translates to thermal comfort and energy savings. Taurus is the successor to the popular 8D PRO model – improved design and functionality in one device.

Versatile control options

AURATON Taurus works with wired temperature controllers, allowing you to monitor each heating zone and adjust the temperature to individual needs. Additionally, the strip enables simultaneous control of the central heating circulation pump and the heating device (potential-free contacts), ensuring comprehensive management of the entire heating system. The function of delaying the activation of the heating device (approx. 3 minutes) protects the installation from sudden temperature fluctuations and extends the life of the devices.

Easy installation and reliability

The installation of the strip is extremely simple thanks to the connectors equipped with removable terminals. The ability to disconnect wires before connecting significantly facilitates the work of installers. The power supply of the strip is 230 V AC, 50 Hz, and the power consumption is 1.5 W. The operating temperature range of the device is 0 – 40°C. The relay capacity is a maximum of 250 V AC and 2 A (potential-free contacts COM, NO, NC). The outputs controlling the heads can handle a maximum of 30 W for up to 3 AURATON Vela actuators per zone, and the central heating pump output has a capacity of up to 200 W at 230 V. The delay in switching on the relay or pump is approximately 3 minutes, and the degree of protection is IP20.
