The AURATON Water STOP set is a comprehensive solution for protecting your home from the effects of flooding. It consists of a wireless sensor that detects the presence of water and a safety valve that automatically cuts off the water supply in the event of an alarm. This system provides peace of mind, especially during prolonged absences, and minimizes potential material losses.

How does the system work?

The set works with the AURATON PULSE gateway, enabling remote monitoring of the installation status and immediate notifications of a detected hazard. In the event of a leak, the sensor sends a signal to the valve, which blocks the water supply within seconds. This can prevent serious damage caused by uncontrolled leaks. The valve is designed for standard water installations with a diameter of 3/4 inch, making it easy to install and integrate with the existing system.

Construction features and operating parameters

The safety valve is characterized by a torque of 2 Nm and operates in a temperature range of the medium from 0 to 100°C and a maximum pressure of 1.0 MPa. The sensor, on the other hand, can operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures from -20°C to 45°C. Both devices have been designed to ensure reliable operation even in difficult humidity conditions (≤85% without condensation). The system uses radio frequencies 865,500 MHz, 867,200 MHz, 868,150 MHz, 868,450 MHz and 869,800 MHz with a radio signal power of 11 dBm and an operating range of up to 50 m in a typical building and up to 150 m in open terrain.
