Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit – Efficiency and Comfort in Your Home

The Awenta Pro Auros 405 ventilation unit is an advanced solution providing optimal air quality in rooms while simultaneously saving energy. The unit recovers heat from exhaust air, heating the supply air, which translates to lower heating bills, especially during the winter. The VER405P model, in the right-hand version, is perfect for both new buildings and the modernization of existing installations.

Construction and Performance

Awenta Auros 405 is a heat recovery unit equipped with a high-efficiency counter-flow heat exchanger with an efficiency of up to 95%, guaranteeing minimal heat loss. The unit's performance is 430 m³/h at 100 Pa, and the maximum air flow rate is 400 m³/h. The use of energy-saving EC motor fans from Ziehl-Abegg ensures quiet operation and low energy consumption (maximum power consumption without a pre-heater is 280W). An automatic bypass allows for complete bypassing of the heat exchanger, which is useful in the summer when the goal is to cool the air. Additionally, a modulated pre-heater (with a maximum power of 2000W) allows you to adjust the supply air temperature to individual needs.

Universal Mounting and Additional Functions

The Awenta Auros 405 recuperator is characterized by high mounting flexibility – it can be mounted on the wall (mounting strip included) or on the floor (VKNER legs available separately). Rotatable connection elbows (360° in vertical and horizontal planes) make it easy to adapt to specific installation conditions. The housing made of EPP (expanded polypropylene) provides excellent sound and thermal insulation and high tightness. The unit is standardly equipped with M5 ISO ePM10 filters, but it is possible to use F7 ISO ePM1 filters with a higher filtration class for even better air quality. It is also possible to install a reusable pre-filter.

Extended Control and Monitoring Capabilities

Awenta Auros 405 offers a wide range of ventilation system expansion options. It is possible to cooperate with the VACS-1 air quality sensor and the VSHC carbon dioxide and humidity sensor, which allows for automatic adjustment of the unit's operation to current conditions. Additionally, the optional iNext module enables wireless control and access to data from a mobile application (Android, iOS) or web browser.
