This metal wall air intake with a diameter of 315 mm is a key element of every mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery. Construction and installation – simplicity and functionality

The VCSM air intake has been designed with easy installation and maintenance in mind. It is equipped with a drip edge that effectively protects the wall from rainwater, as well as an insect screen to prevent insects from entering the ventilation ducts. Four mounting holes in the corners allow for stable attachment to the wall. Additionally, a detachable front makes it easier to access the interior of the air intake for cleaning and maintenance. A double-lip seal ensures a tight connection and minimizes the risk of leaks.

Materials and durability – corrosion protection

Made of 0.7 mm thick galvanized steel sheet and powder-coated with passivation technology, the VCSM air intake is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and weathering. This guarantees long-term reliability even in difficult operating conditions. The rectangular air inlet and cover minimize the impact of weather conditions on airflow, and the optimized design ensures low pressure drops – which translates to energy efficiency of the entire ventilation system.
