Robust construction for mounting photovoltaic panels

This reinforced C-channel, catalog number 881544, is a key element of the photovoltaic panel mounting system. Made of S350GD steel with a Magnelis®, MagiZinc® or PosMAC coating, it provides not only strength and corrosion resistance, but also long-term reliability in harsh weather conditions. The profile is designed for direct panel support and mounting of mounting brackets.

Functionality and time saving

The design of the C-channel has been carefully thought out for maximum functionality and simplified installation. Extended and densified perforation allows for adaptation to panels of different sizes without the need for additional drilling – this saves time and costs for the installer. Wider perforation allows the use of quick-mounting diamond nuts, which further speeds up the installation process. In addition, one of the walls is bent at an obtuse angle, allowing for an optimal panel tilt angle (25°) without the need for additional elements. The possibility of making profiles with a 20° angle provides flexibility in adapting to specific project requirements.

Materials and parameters

The C-channel is made of steel, guaranteeing high mechanical strength. The sheet thickness is 2.0 mm, providing adequate structural rigidity. The Magnelis®, MagiZinc® or PosMAC coating provides excellent corrosion protection, even in an aggressive environment. The net weight of a single C-channel is 13.38 kg and its dimensions are 100 mm (width) x 50 mm (height) x 4400 mm (length).
