Automatic shut-off valve for fire protection systems – reliable protection
This solenoid valve, designed for automatic flow shut-off in fire protection systems, is a key element ensuring safety and efficient response in emergency situations. The normally closed design guarantees that the valve remains in the closed position in the event of a power failure, which is particularly important in safety systems. It operates at 230V and has a DN80 diameter with a flanged connection, making it easy to integrate with existing installations.
The valve is suitable for use with fresh water and glycol, in a temperature range from -25°C to +90°C. Its durability is confirmed by the maximum working and test pressure of 16/25 bar. The 2/2-way design ensures quick and reliable flow shut-off. Seals made of EPDM are resistant to water at temperatures up to 90°C, ensuring long-lasting tightness and reliability.
High flow rate and reliable operation
The valve is distinguished by a very high flow rate – the flow coefficient Kv is as high as 136 m³/h. This means low flow resistance and efficient operation even with high water demand. Compared to competitive solutions, it offers a higher Kv coefficient, which translates to better system performance. The simple construction of the valve minimizes the risk of failure and ensures reliable operation for a long time. Additionally, it has a PZH certificate, which confirms its compliance with sanitary requirements and safety of use.
The valve is characterized by a minimum opening pressure difference of 0 bar and a maximum pressure difference of 16/25 bar. The coil is supplied as a set, simplifying installation and system start-up. This allows installers to quickly and efficiently integrate the valve with the existing fire protection infrastructure.
