Control cable BiT LiYCY 6x0.5 300V S30591
Control cable for a wide range of applications
The BiT LiYCY 6x0.5 control cable is a shielded flexible cable designed for control circuits, signaling and data transmission in industrial installations and automation systems. The construction with six cores of 0.5 mm² cross-section provides flexibility and convenient installation. This cable is perfect for both fixed installations and mobile devices, offering a reliable connection in dry and humid environments.
Construction and properties
The BiT LiYCY 6x0.5 cable is characterized by a solid construction. Copper cores of class 5 (flexible stranded) are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and color identification makes it easier to distinguish individual wires during installation. A common screen in the form of a braid of copper wires effectively protects against electromagnetic interference – reducing it by up to about 50 dB. The outer PVC coating provides additional mechanical protection and resistance to external factors. Additionally, the cable is oil-resistant according to IEC 60811-404, which increases its durability in harsh working conditions.
Application and benefits
This versatile control cable will find application in:
- industrial installations,
- measurement technology,
- automation systems,
- transmission of analog and digital signals,
- devices requiring shielding against interference.
Thanks to its construction and properties, the BiT LiYCY 6x0.5 cable guarantees:
- Reliable connections: solid construction and shielding ensure stable signal transmission.
- Flexibility: flexible cores make it easy to lay the cable even in tight spaces.
- Resistance to interference: the screen protects against the influence of external electromagnetic fields.
- Durability: oil resistance and a wide range of permissible operating temperatures (-40°C to +80°C) ensure a long cable life.
- Safety: complies with IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire resistance.
The minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 36 mm, and for mobile installations without guidance – 72 mm, which facilitates installation and minimizes the risk of cable damage during operation.
