Control cable for industrial applications and automation

The BiT LiYY 4x0.75 control cable with a rated voltage of 300/300V is a versatile solution designed specifically for modern industrial automation systems. The four-core design with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² per conductor enables efficient transmission of analog and digital signals in control and measurement applications.

High-quality construction and materials

At the heart of the cable are Class 5 flexible copper strands (stranded), which provide excellent flexibility while maintaining high electrical conductivity. Each conductor has a resistance of 26 Ω/km at 20°C, guaranteeing minimal energy losses during operation.

The insulation, made of special polyvinyl chloride (PVC), is characterized by basic resistance to industrial oils, significantly expanding the range of possible applications in industrial environments. The outer sheath, also made of grey PVC, provides additional mechanical protection and facilitates installation identification.

The conductors are color-coded according to the DIN 47100 standard, facilitating correct installation and subsequent system maintenance. The round construction with an outer diameter of 6 mm allows for space savings in cable trays while maintaining optimal installation flexibility.

Electrical parameters and operating conditions

The cable operates at a rated voltage of U/U₀ = 300/300V, making it ideal for low-voltage control circuits. The permissible ambient temperature after installation ranges from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installations and from -5°C to +70°C for flexible installations.

The minimum permissible bending radius for fixed installations is 24 mm (4 × outer diameter), while for flexible installations, it is 45 mm (7.5 × outer diameter).

The product meets the Eca fire reaction class requirements according to EN 13501-6 and possesses self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties according to IEC 60332-1-2. The cable weight is approximately 60 kg/km, which facilitates the planning of installation routes.

The BiT LiYY cable finds wide application in control and signaling systems for industrial applications as well as in measurement technology. It performs excellently in data transmission via analog and digital signals in industrial electronics and automation installations.

It is suitable for both fixed installation and for moving devices inside buildings in dry and damp rooms. In environments with high electromagnetic interference, the use of BIT LiYCY shielded cables is recommended as an alternative.

The Class 5 stranded construction guarantees ease of bending during installation without the risk of damaging the internal structure of the cable, which is particularly important in installations requiring frequent configuration changes or servicing of automated devices.
