The BiT 500 BLACK OR control cable is a flexible solution designed for a wide range of applications in electrical installations. Made of copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², insulated with PVC, it ensures safe and efficient transmission of control signals and power supply to devices. This cable is particularly recommended where resistance to oils and UV radiation is required.

Construction and properties

The BiT 500 BLACK OR cable is characterized by a solid construction. It has 50 cores, which are numbered for easy identification during installation. Made of multi-wire, flexible copper (class 5), which facilitates laying even in tight spaces and ensures long-term reliability of connections. The insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and the outer coating made of the same material guarantee protection against mechanical damage and the effects of atmospheric factors. Additionally, the cable is oil-resistant (according to IEC 60811-404), making it ideal for use in industrial environments.

Application and safety

The BiT 500 BLACK OR cable finds application in both indoor and outdoor installations, as well as for laying in the ground. Thanks to its flame-retardant properties (according to IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-24 cat. C), it provides a high level of safety. This cable is ideal for:

It should be remembered that the permissible ambient temperature of the cable after installation is from -40°C to +80°C. The reaction to fire class according to EN 13501-6 is Fca, which proves its limited impact on the spread of fire.
