This flexible BiT 500 BLACK OR 7x1.5 control cable is a reliable solution for both professional installers and end-users. Construction and properties

The cable features seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The conductors are flexible, stranded (class 5), which facilitates installation and ensures resistance to material fatigue during operation. Conductor numbering simplifies identification and connection, while the black outer PVC coating protects against mechanical damage, moisture, and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is oil-resistant according to IEC 60811-404, increasing its versatility.

Application and safety

The BiT 500 BLACK OR cable is intended for use in control circuits, powering low-power devices, and in technological lines. Thanks to its flame-retardant properties (compliance with IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-24 cat. C) and resistance to flame propagation (reaction to fire class according to EN 13501-6: Fca), it provides a high level of safety in industrial installations with increased fire protection requirements. The possibility of direct burial expands its range of applications – from installations in buildings to outdoor facilities. The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +80°C. The minimum bending radius for mobile installations is 108 mm, and for fixed installations 54 mm, making it easy to route cables even in tight spaces.
