The BiT 500 7x0.75 control cable is a flexible, shielded cable designed for a wide range of indoor applications. Construction and properties

The BiT 500 cable is characterized by a solid construction designed for durability and reliability. Seven conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² made of copper provide adequate current carrying capacity for typical control applications. The conductors are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and numbered for easy identification during installation. Additionally, the cable has a common screen made of aluminum foil and an earthing conductor, which increases safety and protects against interference. The outer PVC coating provides resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors.

The minimum bending radius for flexible installations is 78 mm, and for fixed installations 39 mm, allowing the cable to be adapted to various installation configurations. The cable meets the requirements of EN 13501-6 standard in class Eca regarding reaction to fire. The rated voltage U is 500V and U0 – 300V, making it a universal solution for many electrical applications. The conductor resistance at 20°C is 26 Ω/km.
