Power cable YKXS 1x50 RMC – reliability and durability in every installation

YKXS 1x50 RMC cable is a single-core power cable designed for transmitting electrical energy in circuits with a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV. The construction with copper conductors insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) and an external PVC coating provides high resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. Although superseded by the YnKXS model, this cable is still used in many installations.

Construction and application

The YKXS cable is characterized by a single copper conductor with a cross-section of 50 mm², making it ideal for transmitting significant currents. The conductor can be made of solid wire (class 1) or stranded wire (class 2), also in a compacted version (RMC). Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) as insulation provides high electrical and thermal strength. The external PVC coating protects against moisture, UV radiation and other external factors.

This type of cable finds wide application in:
