BiT 1000 CY FR Control Cable – Reliability and Safety in Every Circuit

The BiT 1000 CY FR 2x1.0 control cable is a versatile solution for use in internal and external installations, as well as for direct burial. Designed for demanding applications, it ensures reliable transmission of control and power signals. Its construction guarantees resistance to mechanical and chemical factors, and ensures safety thanks to the flame-retardant coating.

Construction and Application

This cable features two 1 mm² copper conductors. The conductors are PVC insulated and numbered for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper strands, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a PVC filling compound under the screen and an outer PVC coating, providing additional protection. Thanks to this, the BiT 1000 CY FR cable is perfect for control systems, signaling, and as a power cable for devices with low power consumption.

Standards and Operating Parameters

The BiT 1000 CY FR cable meets the requirements of PN-EN 60228, EN 60228, IEC 60228, PN-EN 60332-1, EN 60332-1, IEC 60332-1, PN-EN 60332-3-24, EN 60332-3-24 and IEC 60332-3-24, confirming its high quality and safety. It is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and withstands a 50Hz voltage test of 4000V. The insulation resistance is at least 20MΩxkm. The minimum bending radius for flexible connections is 12x the cable diameter, and for fixed laying – 6x the cable diameter. The operating temperature for fixed installation is from -40°C to +80°C, and for mobile installation from -5°C to +80°C.
