Water meter for precise water consumption measurement

This multi-jet dry-type water meter, from BMETERS, is designed for installation in cold water systems. The use of a counter protection flap and a reinforced magnetic coupling ensures reliability and accuracy, even under varying water consumption conditions. The GMDM-I model is particularly recommended for residential buildings, public utilities, and anywhere where precision and durability are required.

Construction and expandability

The water meter is characterized by a solid construction and the ability to adapt to modern remote reading systems. Thanks to the use of an anti-magnetic ring, the device is resistant to manipulation attempts. Additionally, the water meter is adapted for mounting WMBUS radio modules, MBUS modules, and pulse transmitters – allowing integration with water consumption monitoring systems and automatic billing. The drive based on a four-pole magnetic coupling eliminates the risk of breakage or slippage, guaranteeing stable operation for a long time.

Parameters and application

The device with a nominal diameter of DN40 (1 1/2 inch) provides a continuous flow rate of 16 m³/h. It is made of materials approved for contact with water intended for consumption – confirmed by the Sanitary Certificate. The maximum operating temperature is 50°C, and the length of the water meter is 300 mm. The GZ2" connection facilitates installation in existing systems. Accuracy class R100/50 ensures precise measurements over a wide range of flows. It is worth remembering that the construction of the water meter allows for even loading of the impeller blades, which translates to minimizing measurement errors.
