Dry-running water meter for hot and cold water – reliable consumption measurement
This multi-jet dry-running water meter, type GMDM-I, is a robust solution for precise flow measurement in residential, public and industrial buildings. Designed to work with both cold and hot water, it provides accurate readings and long-term reliability. Its construction minimizes the impact of magnetic interference thanks to a built-in anti-magnetic ring.
Design and application
The water meter is characterized by a dry-running design, which means that the meter is isolated from the flowing water. This eliminates the risk of corrosion and scale build-up, which translates to a longer service life and measurement stability. Equipped with a counter cover, it is resistant to mechanical damage. It is driven by a reinforced four-pole magnetic coupling, which ensures smooth operation and eliminates the risk of breakage or slippage. The GMDM-I model has a hygiene certificate allowing it to be used for measuring water intended for consumption.
- Nominal diameter: DN32 (1 1/4 inch) – ideal for standard plumbing installations.
- Continuous flow rate (Q3): 10 m³/h – ensures accurate measurement at typical water consumption.
- Connection: GZ 1 1/2 inch – facilitates installation in existing installations.
- Length: 260 mm – compact dimensions make it easy to install even in limited spaces.
- Maximum temperature: 90°C – allows use in both hot and cold water installations.
Expansion options and additional functions
The GMDM-I water meter has been designed with the future in mind. The ability to easily mount Wireless M-BUS radio modules, M-BUS Line trunking (according to PN-EN13757) and a pulse transmitter allows integration with remote reading and water consumption monitoring systems. This is particularly useful for companies managing large facilities and for users who want to have full control over their water consumption.
- Compatibility with Wireless M-BUS radio modules enables remote data reading without the need for physical access to the water meter.
- The possibility of connecting an M-BUS Line module allows integration with monitoring systems in multi-family buildings or commercial facilities.
- Installation of a pulse transmitter enables data logging in building automation systems or billing systems.
