Hot water meter – precise measurement and flexible installation

This dry-running multi-jet water meter is designed for installation in hot water systems, offering reliable consumption measurement in residential, public and industrial buildings. The GMDM-I model is distinguished by its durable construction and high accuracy, confirmed by a hygienic certificate allowing it to measure water intended for consumption. This water meter is particularly recommended where precise measurement and the possibility of expanding the system with additional functionalities are required.

Construction and adaptability

The water meter is characterized by a dry-running construction, which means that the measuring counter is isolated from the flowing water. This ensures long-term reliability and corrosion resistance. It is powered by a reinforced four-pole magnetic coupling, which eliminates the risk of breakage or slippage, guaranteeing stable readings. Additionally, the water meter has an anti-magnetic ring protecting against external interference.

One of the key advantages of this model is its versatility – the water meter can be easily adapted to different needs by mounting additional modules: radio WMBUS, MBUS bus and pulse transmitter. This enables remote data reading and integration with building management systems (BMS).

Technical parameters and application

The GMDM-I water meter with a nominal diameter of DN15 (1/2 inch) is designed to operate with water at a maximum temperature of 90°C. Its flow rate Q3 is 2.5 m³/h, and the accuracy class R100/50 ensures precise measurements over a wide range of flows. The GZ3/4 inch connection facilitates installation in standard installations. The length of the water meter is 165 mm. This is a universal model that will work in both hot and cold water installations (depending on the version). The IP68 protection class guarantees protection against moisture and dust.
