It is a single PEX pipe with a diameter of 50x4.6 mm, surrounded by a layer of PUR foam insulation and protected by a corrugated outer jacket made of LLDPE with a diameter of 111 mm. This construction provides not only protection against heat loss but also high mechanical resistance and durability.

Construction and properties

The CALPEX UNO pipe is characterized by a multi-layer construction that guarantees optimal operating parameters:

• Inner PEX pipe: Made of cross-linked polyethylene (PEX-a) with an EVOH anti-diffusion layer, preventing oxygen from penetrating the installation. This is crucial for protecting installation components from corrosion.
