The CALPEX UNO 63x126 pre-insulated pipe is an element of a pre-insulated pipe system, designed for efficient heat and domestic hot water transport in low-temperature networks. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliability and long-term operation. It is an ideal solution for both new buildings and the modernization of existing installations.

Construction and properties

The pipe consists of several key elements that provide its unique properties:

• PEX-a conductive pipe: Made of cross-linked polyethylene (PEX-a) with an EVOH anti-diffusion layer, preventing oxygen from penetrating the installation. This guarantees protection against corrosion of metal elements in the system.
• PUR insulation: The conductive pipe is surrounded by a layer of polyurethane foam (PUR), which effectively minimizes heat loss, increasing the energy efficiency of the installation.
• LLDPE jacket: The outer jacket made of low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) protects the pipe from mechanical damage and the effects of atmospheric factors. The corrugated surface facilitates laying and provides additional flexibility.

Thanks to this construction, the CALPEX UNO pipe is characterized by high resistance to aggressive chemical media and very good mechanical resistance. The patented corrugation of the outer jacket increases the pipe's flexibility during installation and additionally protects it from damage.

Applications and technical parameters

The CALPEX UNO 63x126 pipe is used in:

• Supplying heat to residential and commercial buildings.
• Repairs and modernizations of existing heating systems.
• Small and medium-sized heat pump networks (air-to-water).
• Local district heating networks.

The pipe has a nominal diameter (DN) of 50 mm and an outer diameter of the pre-insulated pipe (d) of 126 mm. Its working pressure is 6 bar at 90°C and PN10 (10 bar). The maximum continuous operating temperature is 90°C, and the momentary – 95°C. The conductive pipe is made of PEX-a with an EVOH barrier, the insulation is PUR foam, and the outer jacket is LLDPE. The pipe is available in cut-to-size sections, allowing for precise adaptation to the needs of a specific installation.
