The FLEXSTAR UNO pre-insulated pipe is a modern solution for heating installations, especially in combination with heat pumps and district heating networks. Construction and properties

The pipe consists of several key elements that together create a coherent and efficient system. The inner pipe is made of cross-linked polyethylene PE-Xa, characterized by high strength and corrosion resistance. It also has an EVOH anti-diffusion layer, which prevents oxygen from penetrating the installation and protects metal elements from corrosion. Thermal insulation made of polyurethane foam (PUR) minimizes heat loss – the thermal conductivity coefficient is 0.268 W/(m.K). The whole is surrounded by a corrugated outer jacket made of LLDPE polyethylene, which provides mechanical protection and resistance to UV radiation. The corrugated surface facilitates installation and pipe identification.
