This compact clamp meter combines AC and DC current measurement capabilities up to 600A and voltage measurements up to 600V, making it a versatile tool in the hands of an electrician. The key advantage of the device is the unique AmpTip™ function, implemented via a special notch in the upper part of the jaws. This solution enables precise measurement of currents up to 60A even in conductors with small diameters, where standard clamps might fail or display incorrect values. The device also offers full True RMS (true root mean square) measurement for both current and voltage, which is essential when working with modern inverters, switching power supplies, or circuits with harmonic distortions, where traditional average-responding meters would provide inaccurate results.

Applications and Diagnostic Features

In daily service work, not only the measurement capability itself is valuable, but also the speed and additional features that facilitate diagnostics. The meter is equipped with an LCD display with a maximum reading of 6000 counts, ensuring clear result visibility even during fast sampling (5 times per second). For installers working on complex circuits, the recording modes are crucial: CREST-MAX (detection of peak values lasting 5 ms), MAX/MIN, and the relative measurement mode Δ. Standard auxiliary functions are also included, such as result hold (HOLD) and continuity testing with audible and visual indication (BeepLit™). It is worth mentioning the non-contact AC voltage detection function (EF), which allows quick verification of phase presence without direct contact with live conductors, thereby increasing safety during preliminary inspections.

Safety and Measurement Ranges

User safety is a priority; therefore, the device construction complies with high measurement category standards CAT III 600V and CAT IV 300V, with overvoltage protection rated at up to 6.0 kV. This enables safe operation in main distribution boards and industrial installations. In addition to basic electrical quantities, the meter allows measurement of resistance up to 6 MΩ, capacitance up to 2500 µF, frequency up to 1 kHz, and temperature in the range from -40°C to +400°C (with a Type K thermocouple included in the set).

The device supports a wide range of physical quantities: from precise measurement of low currents up to 2000 µA via direct connection, through AC/DC clamp current measurement reaching 600 A with full True RMS for AC current, to accurate AC/DC voltage measurement up to 600 V with a low-pass filter for inverters. Additionally, temperature can be measured from -40°C to +400°C.

The device is powered by two AAA batteries, with automatic low-battery indication displayed on the screen. The package includes not only the meter itself but also a set of test leads and a temperature probe, allowing immediate start of work without the need to purchase additional accessories.
