Water level control in large capacity tanks

This device is dedicated to the precise management of water levels in tanks with a capacity of 3000–4000 liters, combining automation control functions with hydraulic elements. The main task of the system is the automatic replenishment of the tank with fresh water and the control of pump operation, which eliminates the need for manual monitoring of the liquid level. Thanks to the use of hanging probes, the device reacts to changes in the water level in real time, ensuring continuous operation of the installation without the risk of drying out or overflowing the tank.

Key functions and practical application

The system is based on four hanging probes, which allow for the definition of different reference points for the filling and emptying process. This enables the installer to configure the device's operation according to the specific needs of the facility – from simple filling to complex pump duty cycles.

• Automatic filling: The device opens the fresh water supply when the level falls below a set minimum.
• Fail-safe closure: Upon reaching the maximum level, the solenoid valve closes the supply without power (normally closed), which increases safety and energy savings.
• Pump control: The system not only controls the supply but also switches pumps on and off depending on the current state of the tank.
• Zero electrode: The use of a reference level (zero electrode) ensures measurement stability and eliminates errors resulting from electrical interference or changes in water conductivity.

The standard equipment includes a complete control box along with an electrode mounting bracket, which facilitates installation and subsequent maintenance. The presence of a debris strainer protects delicate valve components from damage by solid particles present in the water, which is crucial when working with raw or process water. The 6/4" (1 1/2") diameter connection allows for direct connection to standard industrial installations handling large flows.

Configuration and operational safety

The device is ready for "turnkey" installation – the supplied components allow for quick connection to the existing water supply network and pumping system. The fail-safe valve closure is an important feature for installers concerned with energy safety; in the event of a power failure, the system remains in a safe closed position, preventing uncontrolled tank filling.
