Hard water? Equip your installation with a modern softener!
Water hardness is a problem that affects many regions in Poland. It is most often manifested by white deposits on bathroom and kitchen fittings, unpleasant to the touch, matte clothes taken out of the wash, rough hair or irritation of sensitive skin after bathing. It also causes a decrease in the efficiency of heating devices and an increase in the consumption of cleaning agents. The consequences of excessive water hardness can be much more serious. In some cases, it can even damage the water and sewage system. An effective solution to the problem of hard water in both domestic and industrial installations is a professional softener.
How does a water softener work?
Water softeners operate on the principle of exchanging electrons with magnesium and calcium ions. Water is passed through a specialist filter that retains calcium and magnesium carbonate compounds, which are responsible for high water hardness. Sodium ions take their place. Industrial water softeners use ion exchange resin as a filter bed.
Water softeners with time and volume regeneration of the bed
In water softeners in the volume version, the regeneration of the bed takes place according to the actual water consumption, maintaining a reserve until a given hour of regeneration. This solution is considered more economical. The time variant does not measure water consumption. The bed regeneration cycles take place with the consumption of salt.
Types of water softeners
In our offer you will find:
- compact water softeners – thanks to their small size, they can be installed even in a very small space;
- single-column water softeners – consisting of one tank and a separate salt tank, require a short break in operation for regeneration of the bed;
- two-column water softeners - consist of two tanks and a separate salt tank, usually have two operating modes (alternating operation allows for continuous operation of the device), due to maximum efficiency they are intended for industrial applications.
Why is it worth using water softeners?
High quality, soft water:
- reduces the risk of stubborn scale formation on fittings and tanks,
- has a positive effect on the durability of water heating devices and household appliances,
- allows to increase the efficiency of many production processes,
