Cord Diameter Selection Based on Gap Width

Choosing the right cord diameter is crucial to ensure effective fire protection. Below are indicative values for selecting the appropriate size:

For a gap width of 5-10 mm, a cord diameter of 12 mm is recommended. For a gap of 11-15 mm, use a cord with a diameter of 20 mm. For a gap of 16-20 mm, a diameter of 30 mm will be appropriate, for 21-30 mm – 40 mm, for 31-40 mm – 50 mm, for 41-50 mm – 60 mm, for 51-60 mm – 70 mm, for 61-70 mm – 80 mm. The roll with a diameter of 90mm is intended for gaps with a width of 71-80mm (+20%). For gaps with a width of 81 to 90 mm, a cord diameter of 100mm is recommended, and for gaps of 91 to 100mm - 120mm. Remember to allow for tolerances when choosing the appropriate size! The cord can also be pressed on one side to facilitate installation.
