Through heat shrink cable joint – reliable connection for LV cables

This heat shrink joint is designed for connecting low voltage (LV) cables with four cores. It provides a safe and durable connection, especially for N(A)YY type cables. The set includes screw terminals, which facilitate installation and guarantee a secure electrical contact.

Construction and application

The joint is made of plastic and is characterized by high resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The heat shrink construction ensures a tight connection after heating, protecting against moisture and corrosion. Designed for conductors with a cross-section from 16 to 95 mm², it will be useful in various electrical installations. Screw terminals with a breakable head facilitate installation and ensure a secure connection of aluminum and copper cores.

Safety and compliance with standards

The joint is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. It has ENEA pre-qualification and is compliant with the TAURON standard, confirming its high quality and reliability. The rated voltage U0/U (Um) is 0.6/1 (1.2) kV, making it suitable for most standard LV installations. It is not intended for mining sectors or for use with paper-insulated cables.
