Universal frame anchor for fixing substructures and wooden or metal elements
The MFR SB 10x135mm anchor with a hexagonal socket screw (TX) is designed for permanent and secure fixing in various construction materials—from concrete and solid bricks, through aerated concrete and gas concrete blocks, to hollow-core reinforced concrete slabs. Its design allows installation in both new and existing structures without changing the work technique.
All lengths up to 160 mm are pre-assembled—the screw is already installed in the anchor, eliminating the risk of losing components during installation and significantly speeding up on-site work. The uniform setting depth (70 mm) for this version simplifies installation control, whether you are using a 10x80 or 10x160 anchor—all operate on the same principle.
The anchor is made of high-quality, aging-resistant polyamide. Its shape with transverse thickenings ensures early and extended expansion—meaning the anchor "starts" gripping the wall with minimal insertion, and further driving only strengthens the connection. The long expansion zone provides stable holding even in weak materials such as aerated blocks or hollow bricks.
The flat flange at the end of the anchor protects against contact corrosion—particularly important when mounting metal profiles or aluminum elements directly onto concrete. The hexagonal screw with a TX40 socket enables fastening with a Torx key—a solution superior to a standard threaded screw: it does not slip, the head does not get damaged, and it provides greater control during tightening.
The ETA approval confirms its use in facade systems and structures requiring fire resistance—it has been tested and approved by Hörmann for fire-resistant doors in solid construction materials. This is not just a "good anchor"—it meets technical requirements for public and commercial buildings.
The version with a hexagonal screw (SB) and washer is ideal where a larger bearing surface is needed compared to a standard conical screw—for example, when mounting wooden window frames or metal facade profiles to a concrete load-bearing wall.
