Universal expansion plug for installation on various substrates

The USN 40 mm plug in dark brown color is designed for rapid and bridge-free mounting of sheet metal components, protective profiles, cornices, small lighting fixtures, or sensors—without the need for additional insulating elements. It is manufactured from glass-fiber-reinforced nylon with an EPDM seal, ensuring resistance to aging, UV radiation, and extreme weather conditions—even during prolonged outdoor exposure.

The flexible V-shaped spring elements act as an automatic expanding mechanism within the hole, generating high holding force across various building materials: concrete, hollow brick, concrete blocks, or cellular blocks. Pull-out loads are specified for each substrate type: 0.93 kN in concrete, 0.55 kN in hollow brick, and 0.60 kN in cellular blocks.

The main head, with a diameter of 15 mm, features an aesthetic design that integrates seamlessly with surfaces, avoiding the appearance of an intrusive element. Available in multiple colors, this dark brown variant (RAL 8017) perfectly matches sheet metal, frames, and architectural details.

Installation is simple: drill a 6 mm hole, insert the plug—and it’s done. No screwdriver or special tool is required. If removal is necessary, simply knock out the head with a chisel or drill it out with a 5–6 mm drill bit; it features a dedicated groove to guide the drill bit.
