ACR fitting for refrigeration systems

The 45° double bell ACR elbow with a diameter of 1 3/8 inches is a component designed for air conditioning and refrigeration installations. Made of heavy-wall copper, it ensures tightness and durability under high working pressures.

Construction and connections

The fitting is made of heavy-wall copper, which guarantees resistance to deformation and maintains tightness during years of operation. Both ends are equipped with brazing sockets, allowing for a permanent connection to copper pipes.

The connection is performed using the capillary brazing method with brazing alloys containing a minimum of 2% silver. This assembly method ensures the highest connection quality and long-term tightness of the installation.

Operating parameters and compatibility

The component is adapted for operation in an extreme temperature range from -196°C to +150°C, enabling use in various refrigeration applications. It is compatible with a wide spectrum of refrigerants: HCFC, HFC, HFO, and HC.

The connector meets the requirements of the American standard ASME B1.20.1 regarding NPT pipe threads and the conditions of the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC. The manufacturer provides a 25-year warranty on ACR components and on the tightness of the connection when correctly installed.

The design is intended for use with copper pipes manufactured in accordance with the PN-EN 12735 and PN-EN 1057 standards. Use in installations containing ammonia R717 is not recommended.
