Copper reducer for air conditioning and refrigeration

This 7/8 x 1/2 inch reducer, made of copper, is used to connect pipes of different diameters in air conditioning and refrigeration installations. It is an essential element when building or modifying systems where pipe diameter matching is required. Thanks to the use of a brazing socket, the connection is tight and durable.

Construction and application

The reducer has connections in the form of brazing sockets on both the 7/8 inch and 1/2 inch sides. The simple construction ensures easy installation, and the material – copper – guarantees corrosion resistance and high strength. It is designed to connect copper pipes in accordance with PN - EN 12735 and PN - EN 1057 standards. It can be used with various refrigerants (HCFC, HFC, HFO and HC), except for ammonia R717.
