The ACR single-socket elbow with a diameter of 1 3/8 inches is an HVAC system component designed for air conditioning and refrigeration applications. Made of heavy-wall copper, it ensures leak-proof connections at high operating pressures.

Construction and technical parameters

The elbow with a 45° bend angle is equipped with brazing sockets at both ends, allowing for easy and durable connection to copper pipes. The product meets the requirements of the American ASME B1.20.1 standard for NPT threads, ensuring full compatibility with inch-based systems used in the refrigeration industry.

The element dimensions are 4 × 4 × 9 cm with a weight of 0.1 kg, making it a compact solution ideal for installation in limited spaces. The thicker wall of the copper pipe has been specially designed to ensure tightness and durability under extreme operating conditions.

Application and refrigerant compatibility

The component is designed to operate in a wide temperature range from -196°C to +150°C, enabling its use in both standard refrigeration systems and applications requiring extreme thermal resistance.

The ACR fitting is compatible with the following refrigerants: HCFC, HFC, HFO, and HC. Use in installations containing ammonia R717 is not recommended due to potential copper corrosion.

The connection is achieved through capillary hard brazing using brazing alloys containing a minimum of 2% silver, which guarantees the highest brazing quality and long-term leak tightness.

Standards, certificates, and quality guarantee

The connector meets the requirements of the European standards PN-EN 12735 and PN-EN 1057 for copper tubes used in refrigeration installations. The product complies with the provisions of the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC, confirming its safety for use under pressure.
