The 90° single-cup elbow with a diameter of 1 3/8 inches is a key component for air conditioning and refrigeration installations made of copper tubing. Specifically designed for ACR systems, it allows for changing the direction of the installation while maintaining full tightness and connection reliability.

Construction and materials

Made of high-quality copper, the elbow is characterized by exceptional corrosion resistance and durability in extreme operating conditions. The copper material ensures excellent thermal conductivity and resistance to refrigerants such as HCFC, HFC, HFO, and HC.

The precision manufacturing of the threads complies with the requirements of the American ASME B1.20.1 standard, guaranteeing a perfect fit for installations in inch-based systems. The connection is achieved using capillary brazing with the use of brazing alloys containing a minimum of 2% silver, ensuring a durable and leak-proof joint.

Operating parameters and compatibility

The device operates in a wide temperature range from -196°C to +150°C, making it an ideal solution for both low-temperature and high-temperature applications. The nominal internal diameter of 1 3/8 inches allows for free refrigerant flow with minimal pressure losses.

The elbow is compatible with copper tubes manufactured according to PN-EN 12735 and PN-EN 1057 standards. Use in installations containing ammonia R717 is not recommended due to potential chemical reactions.
