Basic module for intelligent heating and cooling control

This CosiTherm basic module is the heart of the temperature control system, enabling precise regulation of thermal comfort in the building. It serves as a central unit, controlling the operation of the heating circulation pump, the cooling circulation pump, and an additional device via a potential-free contact. This is a versatile solution that can be expanded with CosiTherm wired and wireless modules, adapting the system to individual needs.

The BM basic module allows you to create an advanced control system that not only maintains the desired temperature but also optimizes energy consumption. The ability to connect both wired and wireless modules provides flexibility in component selection and ease of system expansion in the future. Functionality and application

The module powers temperature sensors with 5 V DC and thermoelectric actuators with 230 V AC. It allows controlling heating and cooling pumps, as well as other devices using a potential-free contact – e.g., zone valves or fans. It is compatible with a wide range of CosiTherm accessories, allowing you to create a comprehensive building climate management system. Designed for use with underfloor heating systems, but will also work well in traditional heating installations.

It meets the requirements of installation category 3 and overvoltage category 2, which guarantees safe and reliable operation of the device.
