Automatic balancing valve – precision and savings in your system
This automatic balancing valve ASV-PV, with a nominal diameter of DN15 and a threaded connection of Rp 1/2 inch, is a key element in the hydraulic balancing of heating installations. It is a solution for both professional installers and end-users who value efficient system operation and low operating costs. This fourth-generation valve has been designed for easy installation and commissioning, and its robust construction guarantees long-term reliability.
Construction and principle of operation
The ASV-PV valve is a differential pressure regulator, which is mounted on the return pipe in connection with an impulse tube to the supply pipe. Its task is to maintain a constant pressure difference in the circuit, regardless of flow changes. This ensures uniform heat distribution throughout the heating system, eliminating problems such as underheated rooms or excessive noise. Made of brass, it is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The Kvs value of 1.6 ensures optimal flow for installations with a diameter of DN15.
Advantages and benefits
- Automatic balancing: Eliminates the need for manual flow adjustment, which translates into time and cost savings.
- Energy saving: Uniform heat distribution reduces energy losses and lowers heating bills.
- Comfort of use: Provides a stable temperature in every room, eliminating discomfort associated with underheated or overheated zones.
- Simple installation and operation: Intuitive design makes installation and valve adjustment easier.
- Durability and reliability: Made of high-quality materials guarantees long-term, trouble-free operation.
- Wide range of settings: Possibility to adjust the differential pressure setting range (20-60 kPa) to the specifics of the installation.
- Integrated membrane: Ensures optimal performance at low flow and excellent sensitivity to changes in pressure difference.
- Possibility of flushing the installation: Allows the system to be flushed before start-up, increasing its reliability.
- Partially made of composite: The use of composite affects the reduction of the valve's weight and improvement of its operational properties.
- Spring outside the medium: Placing the spring outside the working medium increases its durability and corrosion resistance.
This valve is designed to operate at temperatures up to 120°C and at a maximum differential pressure of 400 kPa (PN 16). Lack of insulation requires the use of additional thermal insulation in installations exposed to low ambient temperatures or requiring minimization of heat losses. The use of an impulse tube made of plastic ensures the durability of the connection and resistance to corrosion.
